Strava and the Biemme Women’s Cycling Celebration

Are you ready to celebrate? This summer, join women and their supporters, worldwide, in a global celebration of women and cycling.  Challenge yourself to a new distance, group or route and join the party!

The Biemme Women’s Cycling Celebration is a global opportunity to recognize and support all women dedicated to riding, fitness and fun! The Biemme Celebration Kit allows you to get in on the Party and sport an Italian made, technical jersey which states “Amo Solo Te” - I love only you - how fitting for a day we all join together to do something we love!

The following information will help you get the most out of your Ride, by sharing it on Strava.  Strava is a training tool and a social network for athletes. It is extremely popular and user-friendly.  It allows cyclists to post rides, track their activities, and give “kudos” to others.  It also allows members to join Clubs or Events and earn badges or QOM titles for a job well done!

Please log in to Strava and join the Biemme Women’s Cycling Celebration! Here is a link to our Strava Club: https://www.strava.com/clubs/253817

If you are interested: Here is a little more about Strava!

Following Friends: Do it! You will find people that ride when and/where you do! Challenge each other, train together, and encourage one another!

Following Pros: Do it! Not only will you find lots of inspiration, you can use their training plans as tools to help you build your own!

Adding Pictures and Names to Your Rides: Do it! Make it interesting - Strava is an online memory bank of great times spent riding and exploring, both alone and with friends! You can even link your Strava and Instagram accounts!

Using the Strava Maps and Route Builders: Do it! Never get stuck riding the “same old” route… Strava lets you safely build new routes to explore.

Riding Safely: Do it! Strava will protect you from others learning too much about your riding habits. It allows you to create a “Privacy Zone” around your home, which protects you and your bike! Visit Strava settings, under Privacy, to set this up and control who can see your ride!

Most importantly - have fun on your ride - push yourself but remember that you are doing what you love! Enjoy it and celebrate YOU!
